Drum dryer
GENERAL
Rotary Dryer is used for drying materials with humidity or granularity in the building material, metallurgy and chemical industry such as limestone slag, coal powder, clay stone, saw dust and others. It is made from rotary body, lifting blade, driving device, supporting device and sealing ring.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
Bucket elevator or conveyor transports the wet material into the feeder which sends the wet material into the rotary dryer inlet. The feeder cover will keep the materials not leaking and maintain the temperature inside the rotary drum. Drum dryer rotates slowly by motor power to heat material evenly. The drum dryer is incorporated with lifting plate along the rotating of the drum as a means to transfer and mix the heated materials evenly and to ensure the water is evaporated fully.
At the end of the drum dryer, a dust collector cyclone is installed to remove any dust generated during the drying process and the dried raw material is discharged at the bottom of the dust collector cyclone.
